About these terms
SEEN is operated by Independent Broadcasting Network Limited ("we", "us"), West Wing Studios, Unit 166, The Mall, Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 2TL, UK. These terms apply to your use of this website and should be read together with our Privacy Policy. By using this website you agree to these terms.
The SEEN service
SEEN is a subscription streaming catalogue of classic films plus originals and exclusives. You can watch in your browser at app.seen.plus and on the iOS and Android apps. This website gives information about SEEN. Watching, accounts and membership are provided through the SEEN app, and any terms shown in the app also apply to your membership.
The catalogue is updated regularly, so titles may be added or removed. What is available may also vary by location. Viewing quality can depend on your device and internet connection, and you are responsible for any internet or data charges.
Your account
- You create a SEEN account by signing up with your email address.
- The person who created the account and whose payment method is charged (the "account owner") is responsible for activity on the account. Keep your password and payment details private.
- Please keep your account details accurate and up to date.
- We may suspend or close an account to protect you, us or our partners from fraud, or if these terms are broken.
- You must be at least 18 to become a member. Under-18s may only use the service under the supervision of an adult.
Membership, billing and cancellation
- Membership is £5.99 a month, or £59.90 a year.
- New members can try SEEN for £1 for two weeks. When you start the trial you choose a plan (SEEN Monthly at £5.99 a month or SEEN Yearly at £59.90 a year) and confirm that the trial continues on that plan unless you cancel.
- Your trial renews automatically. Unless you cancel before your trial end date, your trial converts onto the plan you chose: we charge the full price on the day your trial ends, and then every month or year until you cancel. We show your trial end date, the price and the first charge date before you start, confirm them by email, and email you a reminder a few days before your trial ends.
- You can cancel online at any time before your trial end date, from your account in the SEEN app or at app.seen.plus, and you will not be charged the full price. If you started your trial through the App Store or Google Play, cancel in your Apple or Google subscription settings.
- Your membership renews automatically and you will be charged for each billing period unless you cancel before your billing date.
- You can cancel a monthly membership anytime from your account in the SEEN app.
- Purchases are completed through a secure web checkout, which may be sent to you as an email link when you subscribe from a mobile device.
- We accept major cards, PayPal and regionally supported payment options. Card details are handled by our payment provider and are not stored by us.
- If you cancel, you keep access until the end of your current billing period, and your membership then ends.
- Payments are non-refundable, and we do not give refunds or credits for partial periods or unused time, except where the law requires. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
- We may change the price of membership. If we do, we will give you at least 30 days' notice by email or in the app. The new price applies from your next billing date after the notice period, and you can cancel before then if you do not agree.
Yearly membership
- Yearly membership is a 12-month commitment. You pay £59.90 upfront for the full 12 months when your yearly membership starts.
- Your yearly membership renews automatically for another 12 months at the end of each 12-month period, and we take the yearly payment on your renewal date, unless you cancel before your renewal date.
- Cancelling a yearly membership stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the 12 months you have paid for.
- If you start with the £1 trial and choose Yearly, your 12 months start on the day your trial ends, when the first yearly payment is taken.
